NBOT for Wine & Beer

Key Benefits

  • Excels in breaking down contaminants, ensuring the production of cleaner and safer wine and beer.
  • The generation of nanobubbles guarantees thorough treatment of wine and beer, surpassing the capabilities of ozone methods.
  • Resource and cost savings while reducing its environmental footprint.

NBOT emerges as a game-changer in the realm of wine and beer production, offering an advanced disinfection approach that surpasses traditional ozone-based methods. This groundbreaking technology redefines the standards of beverage safety and quality. It ensures that the liquids not only meet but exceed the expectations of consumers. Compared to ozone, which may have limitations in addressing specific pathogens, NBOT provides an all-encompassing solution. It guarantees that wine and beer are not only visually appealing but also genuinely safe for consumption. The comprehensive disinfection process of NBOT delves deep, reaching into the core structure of the beverage to ensure its safety and quality from the inside out. What sets NBOT apart is its gentle treatment process. Unlike traditional disinfection methods that may degrade the flavor and composition of wine and beer, NBOT effectively preserves these aspects. This ensures that consumers can enjoy beverages that not only taste exceptional but are also free from harmful microorganisms. Moreover, the environmental benefits are noteworthy. NBOT’s resource-efficient operation aligns seamlessly with the sustainable, cost-effective considerations of the modern beverage industry. It minimizes water and energy consumption, reducing operational costs while promoting environmentally friendly practices in beverage production. This holistic approach elevates the beverage industry, safeguarding the health and quality of products and maintaining the highest hygiene standards. In a world where beverage safety and quality are non-negotiable, NBOT represents the bridge to a future where the purity and excellence of wine and beer are held to the highest standards.

NBOT Applications for Wine & Beer include the following:

BARREL CLEANING

NBOT significantly improves the longevity of barrels by preventing organic buildup, thus saving wineries a substantial amount of money that would otherwise be spent on replacing contaminated wine barrels.

SANITIZING SURFACES AND EQUIPMENT

A wide variety of surfaces and equipment are regularly sanitized with NBOT-treated water to effectively control unwanted microbes and prevent cross-contamination. Furthermore, bottles and bottling equipment are also sanitized using NBOT.

TANK CLEANING

NBOT is employed by breweries for both initial sanitation and subsequent follow-on rinses. Stainless steel tanks, even after sitting empty for a week or longer following the initial sanitization, are rinsed with NBOT-treated water immediately before filling to ensure proper sanitization.

NBOT FOR WINE & BEER CLEAN-IN-PLACE (CIP)

The most critical risk of contamination in the winemaking process arises during wine transfers between tanks and barrels. In response to this risk, wineries adopt rigorous measures for their CIP processes.

CIP entails the cleaning and sanitization of various components such as pump systems, pipes, tanks, hoses, filters, and bottling lines. Traditionally, these cleaning procedures require multiple rinses, often involving hot water or steam to remove residue, along with detergents and chemicals like bleach solutions. On average, the production of a single gallon of wine consumes up to ten gallons of water. Additionally, the use of chemicals raises concerns regarding worker safety and environmental impact.
